Tripartite Memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati), Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India has been signed on 6^th June 2019 at Delhi. Ministry has appointed Dr. Suresh Jain, Associate Professor as Nodal officer from IIT Tirupati and same for APPCB to work closely in implementation of National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) at the state level. IIT Tirupati will work as a technical partner for Andhra Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) in implementation of NCAP. IIT Tirupati will facilitate the APSPCB in identifying the priority actions to improve air quality in the non-attainment cities identified in Andhra Pradesh.
